Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 13th January 2024 Written Episode Update
Surekha conveys her heartfelt sympathy to Reeva about the tragic incident that befell Savi, expressing a deep sense of sorrow and a prayer for peace for Savi’s family. She suggests that they should immediately travel to Ramtek to bring Ishan back home. Reeva, however, explains that Ishan had explicitly requested her not to visit and to allow him to handle the situation by himself. Yashwant supports Reeva’s decision, emphasizing the importance of letting Ishan manage the situation independently and return home on his own.
Meanwhile, Ishan arrives at Savi’s hospital room only to discover her absence. A nurse informs him that a constable has taken Savi to identify the individuals responsible for her family’s tragedy. Ishan is tormented by the thought that if Samrudh reveals his role in the calamity, Savi will despise him, a scenario he desperately wants to avoid.
At the police station, Inspector calls in the suspects detained at the paint factory, asking Savi to identify the culprits. As she observes Mandar and Samrudh, Savi’s mind floods with memories of all the events leading up to the fire accident. Mandar quietly urges Samrudh to remain calm, confident they will evade the law. However, he fears Savi might lose control and retaliate violently. In a fit of rage, Savi viciously assaults Samrudh, demanding to know why he destroyed her family. As the police attempt to intervene, Mandar cries out in fear of Savi’s potential lethal actions. In a dramatic turn, Savi seizes the inspector’s gun and aims it at Samrudh. The Inspector pleads with her not to pull the trigger, warning that it could ruin her life. Savi, engulfed in grief and anger, declares her intention to kill Samrudh, who then confesses to murdering her family out of revenge. The constables drag a shouting Samrudh away, while a distraught Savi collapses in despair, comforted by Ishan.
The Chavan family reacts with shock to the revelation of Samrudh’s heinous act. Asmita remarks on Durva’s fortunate escape from marrying such a man, while Anvi recalls Durva’s initial determination to marry him. Shikha speculates that Samrudh might have targeted Savi’s family as retribution for her actions, which prevented his marriage to Durva. Surekha, overwhelmed, asserts that their family is uninvolved in these events. Yashwant agrees, insisting that the topic should not be discussed again.
Savi, still reeling, questions Ishan why he prevented her from taking Samrudh’s life. Ishan explains that such an act would have turned her into a criminal like Samrudh, urging her not to tarnish her family’s legacy. Ishan realizes he must reveal the truth to Savi about the events. Their conversation is interrupted by a constable, who informs Savi that the postmortem of her family is complete and she can now perform their last rites, leading to another wave of grief for Savi.
Swanand and Swati visit Yashwant and Surekha to discuss the previously cancelled engagement ceremony between Reeva and Ishan. They express regret for the past mishaps and propose to take charge of the upcoming wedding arrangements. They reveal having hired a wedding planner, Prateek, who happens to be Ishan’s friend, but he clarifies his role as a professional from the bride’s side. Swanand emphasizes the importance of having someone familiar in charge of the wedding preparations.
Reeva informs the group that Ishan is attending Savi’s family’s last rites. Swanand and Swati express their concern over Ishan’s deep involvement with his student, questioning his absence from his own wedding preparations. Ishan, meanwhile, assists Savi in the somber task of performing her family’s last rites. Surekha, upon learning of Ishan’s involvement, calls him, insisting he return immediately. Ishan reveals his sense of responsibility for Savi’s family’s demise, leaving Surekha in shock. He contemplates the need to disclose the full truth to Savi before anyone else. At the funeral, the Panditji initially suggests Ishan perform the last rites, but Ishan insists it is Savi’s right, advocating for her to take the lead in the ritual despite traditional norms.
