Daily Current Affairs

To ace any competitive examination, candidates should be well versed with the daily current affairs. Without having sufficient knowledge of the latest developments in India and around the world it is quite difficult to score good marks in this section. Now, the question paper comprises most of the questions based on current affairs. Hence candidates should prepare it on a serious note so that they can attempt maximum questions in the examination. Some candidates completely ignore this section as only 2-3 direct questions are asked which is not a good approach.

To prepare for it candidates can use offline as well as online study materials. For offline materials they can refer to the newspaper, monthly magazines, etc. whereas if they want to go for online study materials there are numerous channels on youtube that provide videos on current affairs, websites of coaching institutes can be referred, and various mobile applications are there. So, we can say that there are numerous sources for the preparation. Candidates can follow any of them as per their convenience for effective preparation.

Some candidates do not memorize things for a long time. This is a major problem amongst most of the candidates. To overcome this, candidates should prepare hand writtennotes of current affairs. It is important for revision. They should try to make the notes as short as possible so that they can revise maximum things in less time. Many candidates are following this approach which is good also. It will help in keeping the studied things in the mind for long time and candidates will be able to recall them in the examination hall.
